As a trade marketing intern for Aramis & Designer Fragrances, I conducted competitive analyses among our retailers, compiled consumer data, and aided external communications with retailers. I participated in meetings to discuss the launch of Michael Kors’ Gorgeous! and implemented the transition of new Cashmere Mist visuals into retailer platforms. I arranged retailer and brand information to organize for upcoming deals and communicate with retail partners.

Analyzed a series of sampling studies done through Estée Lauder Company brands to recommend strategies for Michael Kors and Donna Karen’s fiscal year ’21 and ’22 sampling methods.

Utilized the return on investments based on sample sizes and type of perfume juice, I informed the executive director of marketing and trade marketing director on statistics to track in the future. The project piqued my interest in consumer insights. My experience as a trade marketer lends me a crucial understanding of retailer relationships. Interning on the ADF team in the wake of decreasing sales post-COVID provided me with key insights on how to capitalize on internal strengths and regain brand relevance through gift with purchases, store displays, and 360 activations.
